November Newsletter
Greetings from The Lambert Family & 6:33 Global in Honduras!
ANNUAL TRIP TO THE U.S.A.
We kicked off November back in the states for our annual trip to Louisiana to see family and friends! HUGE THANK YOU to Joe and Dr. Cheri LeBlanc! They have created a sanctuary in their home where we were able to rest, relax and recharge. We love their hearts and we pray God will continue to bless them, increase and provide for them to continue to be hospitable and generous to others. I could go on. We love The LeBlanc's and their family! Thank you again for going the second mile for The Lambert Family!
We were able to meet with Ps. Mike Haman & Ps. Jeffrey Rentz to summarize our first year in Honduras. We are grateful for their belief in us and their encouragement during this new season for The Lambert Family. It is comforting to hear how passionate Ps. Mike is about our new adventure! We value the spiritual covering of our Pastor and Leadership. It continues to confirm our calling and builds our faith knowing our spiritual family has our back!
We also met with our Board of Directors for 6:33 Global, Ps. Derek Smith, Ps. Jeffrey Rentz, Br. Earl Rentz. We shared the things we believe God asked us to focus on as a ministry and how we could serve and support Ps. Derek & Cecia to help them be a healing place for a hurting world in Honduras. We are thankful for such a Godly, strong support group to give us wisdom and help us dream about all 6:33 Global can be in the future.
We took a quick trip to Birmingham, AL and got to visit with Ps. Dino & DeLynn Rizzo. We are thankful for Church Of The Highlands, Ps. Chris Hodges and The Rizzos for their support. We got to sit with Ps. Dino and share what's been going on with The Lamberts. He always challenges us to dream big and think outside the box. He asked us to keep in mind these 4 principles as we minister in Honduras:
1. Share The Gospel with Unreached People
2. Invest in Leaders - They Reach People
3. Plant Churches - Churches Are The Hope Of The World
4. Compassion For Others - For The Cause of Christ
We also got to see and visit with great friends from Baton Rouge who now serve with ARC in Birmingham, AL.
We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving & Christmas with our families while we visited. We had plenty of quality time with family and it was good to catch up, but it was hard to leave again.
Thanks to many of you who took time to visit with us while we were in the states. We can't thank you enough for the support, encouragement and prayers from each and every one of you! It is truly an honor and very humbling that you would trust us with the resources with which God has blessed you.
November 8th we celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Honduras. Even though we were in the states, Brandi and I were able to reflect and talk about the experience. Our plan is to record a One Year Anniversary Video to share on Social Media to recap the past and share what we are believing for in the future!
BOUDREAUXS IN HONDURAS
When we returned home to Honduras, we were able to host our first Family Missions Trip with Bret & Brittany Boudreaux and their children.
This was a WIN-WIN for 6:33 Global/HPC Honduras and The Boudreaux Family! We appreciate their patience and adaptability. They were able to help us make repairs to the water system for the church and community. We did an outreach to a widow who faithfully attends HPC Honduras and served along side of the HPC Honduras Staff for our weekly ministry nights with Adolescents, Women, Children and our Homeless and Hospital Outreach in La Ceiba.
We are so grateful that they decided to spend their Thanksgiving Holiday as a family here in Honduras to help us share the love of Jesus to our community.
Their oldest daughter was able to serve a couple of hours for her Allied Health Course at Dutchtown High School. This is a course for High School Students interested in the medical field. She spent the day serving with Dr. Melvin & Dr. Ana at the Clinica Doctor Del Pueblo in Las Mangas. The Boudreauxs also visited Dr. Melvin & Dr. Ana's new clinic under construction.
HPC FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY LEADER'S TRIP IN FEBRUARY
While visiting the states, we were able to visit with good friends and a group of families coming on a small group, short term missions trip to HPC Honduras in February!
Mark & Kim Trahan along with Jeff & Kati Crews are some of our best friends! They are taking their families along with some other Volunteer Leaders of HPC's Financial Peace University Team. They are coming in February and they are excited!
DR. MELVIN & DR. ANA'S MEDICAL CLINIC CONSTRUCTION
We wanted to give you another update on Dr. Melvin & Dr. Ana's Clinic Construction. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your generosity! Since partnering with Clinica Doctor Del Pueblo, you have given $8,247 to their ministry and a great portion of that has helped them complete the first story of their new clinic!
The first story will be the clinic bathrooms, waiting room, pharmacy and treatment rooms for medical and dental needs. The second story will be lodging accommodations for interns, incoming teams and/or visiting nurses, doctors, dentists and dental assistants for community medical and dental brigades.
HPC HONDURAS KID'S SPACE CONSTRUCTION
Finally, we have an update on the HPC Honduras new Kid's Space Construction. As we mentioned before, HPC at Highland Road raised money for construction during this Summer's VBS! Then, we had the team from Kennedy Road Tabernacle in Brampton Canada visit and donated toward construction and broke ground to dig and pour the building footings. We have local workers in the community continuing construction. We hope to complete the project during the first quater of 2019, if the rainy season here in Honduras allows us to proceed with construction!
Thanks for checking in! Be looking out for video updates from The Lamberts on social media where we hope to share some very EXCITING news for 2019! Thank you for your prayers and support!
For HIs KINGDOM + CHURCH + PEOPLE,
The Lamberts
